Meet Our IBCLC

By empowering and supporting mothers with knowledge and confidence, I can help them understand that their bodies are inherently capable of providing optimal nutrition for their babies. This support not only fosters a strong mother-infant bond but also contributes to the overall health and well-being of both mother and child.

Mickie Schlink RN, IBCLC

Breastfeeding, Pumping, Newborn Care

About

Mickie was born and raised in Arizona. In 2019, Mickie married her husband Zachary and welcomed their first son Waylon in 2021 and Stetson in 2024. After delivering & nursing her beautiful boys and being a labor & delivery nurse for 10 years, Mickie wanted to embark on a journey to empower women on their breastfeeding journey’s. She realized how the support for women wanting to succeed in breastfeeding was lacking and she set out to specialize in the area. In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, camping in the pines, getting outdoors, riding side by sides at the dunes and exploring our beautiful country.

Education & Experience

Mickie graduated from Chamberlain University: College of Nursing in 2013. She began her nursing career at Banner Good Samaritan from 2013-2014 on the progressive care unit. Then found her love for helping women birth and assist with breastfeeding from 2014- current at Banner Estrella. In her time as a Labor & Delivery Nurse she has furthered her education and became an IBCLC. She has a love and passion for helping others and can’t wait to assist in your journey as well.
